Benefits of Mission Trips

Challenge Yourself

Getting outside of the country poses some unique challenges. You might find that mission trips test your faith, expand your comfort zone, and help you grow as a person of faith. It's a great way to see just how God is calling upon you. Click the button below to learn more about mission trips from our parent organization, XMA.

Use Your Skillset to Help

A mission trip is a great opportunity for you to use your gifts and skills when abroad. Your gifts can open doors for others, and help show God's hope and love to those who need it. Your skills can help with shorthanded staffs, teams that need uplifting, and with unexpected obstacles along the way.

Broaden Your Perspective

Once you've been exposed to the world outside of your norm, you may grow as a person, and see how God calls upon you to help a world that is suffering. While it is a challenge, it is still so much fun. A great time awaits!

Not For you?

It doesn't matter how much you want to spread the Gospel, sometimes, trips just aren't for you. That's okay. Some of us go, others help by praying & giving. Donations are handled by our Parent/Partner organization, XMA.

Experiences of past mission team members

A couple who has sponsored this little boy

"In the summer of 2018 my husband and I, along with a few members of our church, came to Honduras on a mission trip. New Life Project in Pane was where we worked. We were introduced to Jennifer and Osmany and their precious family. They were very hospitable and easy to relate to. We had an amazing time working with and ministering to the children there at NLP. It was there that Doug and I met our sponsored child Emerson David. It was love at first sight. We are looking forward to going back."
