COVID-19 Alert

Update: We Need Help

“Honduras people are suffering. We have been on mandatory lock down for 11 days already and yesterday the announced we will continue until April 12. What that means for them is they are starving. A huge percentage of the people here live day to day. All stores are closed and we are forbidden to circulate or we could be arrested. People are getting desperate, angry and panicked. Crime is already skyrocketing.

Missionaries here in Sigua are working together to provide food baskets to families that desperately need it.

We want to work with them and provide the same to families in Pane and Matazano. Each basket is $20. They will receive

  • 5 lbs of beans
  • 5 lbs of rice
  • toilet paper
  • salt
  • 5 lbs of corn flour
  • 4 lbs of shortening
  • 3 lbs of sugar
  • 2lbs of spaghetti.

There are about 325 families in Pane and Matazano. Our first goal is to provide 50 provisions. Because it is so difficult for us to get to a bank and to get money sent to Honduras right now we are asking that you send the money if possible through paypal.”- Jennifer Hernandez

What Our Sponsors Say

A Sponsor of a Child

Karen Tollet

In the summer of 2014, I went on my first short term mission trip to Honduras. While in Pane’ I fell in love with the village and the people there and decided to sponsor two New Life Project children. Each summer since then I have returned to Pane’ and have had the blessing of seeing how those two children have grown and changed. I am so thankful that I can make at least a little difference in their life by sponsoring them, sending them gifts, and most of all praying for them. I look forward to seeing what the Lord continues to do in their lives as well as the lives of their families.

"We had the fortune of visiting the New Life Project several years ago and we have been sponsors ever since. The work they do with the kids is amazing. The education, support, and Christian foundation they provide to those in their program along with their families is life-changing.It gives us so much joy to know we're making a difference through our monthly sponsorship. Proverbs 14:31 Whoever oppresses a poor man insults his Maker, but he who is generous to the needy honors him.”

"When we started construction on the medical clinic in Pane, we asked people who contributed to write a prayer on a slip of paper. We took those prayers to Pane and they were placed in the cinder blocks that the building is constructed out of. ”
